This city of almost 1,000,000 people is the largest in the Empire. Founded four hundred years ago by the Emperor Carromdinel the Victorious it has grown into a thriving metropolis at the center of the great Empire. Caravans travel to its markets, ships travelling along the Reegn stop in its ports, and taxes collected from across the land are collected into its coffers. The libraries in the Center for Uncompromising Learning are the finest in the land. The estimated rates of theft, murder, arson, rape, and bribery are all grossly exaggerated. It is one of the cleanest, nicest places to live in all the Empire if one is aware what neighborhoods to avoid and how to not act like a potential victim. At the center of the city is the Imperial Palace from which Emperor Thonum the Protector governs his people. Punishments for crimes committed in the city are almost always hard labor with varying lengths of term. Many criminals help repair the city while others work in the Imperial silver mines.

Monster Populations: Many dangerous creatures still elude the tireless city watch and eke out a living in the dark alleys of this huge city by night, but we feel secure that this problem will soon be brought under control. Of course some human monsters prey upon the weak and stupid, but this is to be expected in such a large metropolitan area.
